Ordinances pass on first reading

Ordinance #404-2025, an ordinance adding Chapter 22 titled "Southeast Zoning District" to the Zoning Code (Title 11), passed on its first reading on 5/13/2025 with minor changes from the draft which was posted on the Council's Packet webpage.  The new draft can be viewed here.

Zoning Regulation Updates to Chapter 13 "Parking"

The Three Forks Zoning & Planning Board will meet Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 6:30 PM in the City Hall Council Chambers, 206 Main Street.  This meeting will discuss updates to Title 11, Chapter 13 "Parking", as well as a performance-zoning checklist for the recently recommended Southeast Zoning District (Chapter 22).  The Council will read this chapter as a first reading of an ordinance on 5/13/2025 at 6PM.

Madison-Ruby-Jefferson River Watersheds Flood Maps Update

10/7/2024

Madison, Jefferson, Gallatin, and Broadwater Counties have been working with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) to produce new floodplain maps for portions of the Madison, Ruby, Jefferson, Beaverhead and South Boulder Rivers, and Mill and Indian Creeks.
