Board Vacancies:

The City advertises “vacancies” for all boards as terms expire, providing for the opportunity for those who would like to “toss their hat in the ring” to apply, as well as we send a letter asking the current board member if they wish to be reconsidered for another term.

• Board of Adjustments/Appeals has TWO vacant seats.  This is a five-member board, serving staggered 3-year terms.  This board’s purpose is to consider variance requests from the Zoning Ordinance, and appeals of an Officer/Administrative Official’s determinations.  One appointment would complete a 3-year term and expire on 4/30/2027, and the other appointment would expire 4/30/2029.
• Three Forks Rodeo Arena Board has one vacant seat. This is a seven-member board, each member serving staggered 3-year terms. This board’s purpose is to plan and work the annual High School rodeo in April, the annual 3^rd weekend in July rodeo, recruit other events and uses for the rodeo grounds, as well as oversee an Arena Director, Marketing Director, and Executive Secretary to implement the policies and directions set by this Board.  This appointment would fill the remainder of another member’s term, expiring June 30, 2027.
