Board Vacancy:
The City advertises “vacancies” for all boards as terms expire, providing for the opportunity for those who would like to “toss their hat in the ring” to apply, as well as we send a letter asking the current board member if they wish to be reconsidered for another term.
- Board of Adjustments/Appeals has one seat open due to a resignation, and another seat’s term expiring on 4/30/2026 – so TWO VACANCIES shortly. This is a five-member board, serving staggered 3-year terms. This board’s purpose is to consider variance requests from the Zoning Ordinance and appeals of the Zoning Official’s or City Council decisions. This appointment will fill the remainder of the term and expire on 4/30/2026.
