Water Project Update for 9/11/2025 & Traffic Flow to School for week of 9/15/2025

9/10/2025

This week the Water Project will be wrapping up with the water line connections, and next Monday (9/15) the pavers will be coming in to start finishing the roads. The last couple of blocks will be tied in Thursday, 9/11/2025. Water will be off (after 9AM) on Thursday 9/11/2025 at 5th & Ash Street, and on 4th Avenue E from Neal to Cedar Streets.
Starting next Monday 9/15/2025, if you are dropping kids off at Three Forks School, traffic will be detoured away from Neal and Ash Streets, and several intersections will be closed on Birch, Cedar, Date, 2nd Avenue East, 3rd Avenue East and 4th Avenue East as well. Please plan accordingly and give yourself a few extra minutes to get to the School.
If you are dropping kids off at the Elementary School, the easiest traffic flow will be (from Main Street) to take E Elm Street, head to 5th Avenue E and then over to Oak to make the loop. You will also need to take a left on E Neal and head back to 5th, 6th or 7th to get back out.  If you are coming from Ridge View Subdivision and typically stay on 4th Avenue East, please make your way to 5th. Staff or others staying should park in the parking lot north of E Oak Street.
High School drivers will be able to access the student parking lot at the corner of E Neal and N 2nd Avenue E - but not from the alley entrance on Ash Street.  The alley entrance on Neal before 3rd Avenue E will be open.
